Some weddings are all about keeping it small, keeping it simple, and keeping it focused on the people who really matter — and that’s exactly what Sarah & Sam did for their beautiful day.


They tied the knot at West Bridgford Registry Office with just close family and friends — about 20 guests altogether — the kind of group where everyone knows each other, and the whole day just feels like one big catch-up with the people you love most.


After the ceremony, we made our way to Holme Pierrepont Hall and even though the venue itself is grand and full of history, it never felt like we were rattling around. The Medieval Lodgings were perfect for keeping it all cosy and relaxed, with the kind of atmosphere where everyone feels at home.


Yes, the rain made an appearance (classic British springtime!), but it didn’t dampen the mood one bit. The gardens still looked stunning (lush, green, and full of colour) and we managed to sneak out for some photos in between the showers.


One of my favourite moments? Sam treating everyone to some live music. Such a lovely, personal touch that made the day feel even more special.


Sarah & Sam, thank you for having me along to capture such an intimate, joyful day. Sometimes, the smaller weddings are the ones that stay with you the longest… and this one definitely will.
