There’s something extra special about getting married somewhere that means the world to you, and India & Enrico’s wedding was exactly that. They tied the knot with a beautiful church ceremony, then welcomed everyone back to Enrico’s family home in Nottinghamshire for one of the most incredible tipi weddings I’ve seen… and on one of the hottest days of the year so far!
The tipi itself sat on the menage (horse arena, for those not in the know), but what’s really cool is that once the tipi comes down, India & Rico are building their very own home on that very spot. Talk about starting your new chapter in style.
After the ceremony, guests were welcomed back to the house with a confetti throw of petals, lovingly collected by India from their own garden, such a personal touch, and made for some gorgeous photos.
The whole day had this brilliant, laid-back energy. Sun shining, drinks flowing, friends and family just soaking it all up. And then came the speeches… heartfelt, funny, and topped off with one of the wildest family traditions I’ve ever witnessed. Just as everyone was relaxing into the celebrations, Enrico’s uncle appeared, scissors in hand… and promptly cut off the groom’s tie! Apparently, it’s a bit of a family ritual, and judging by the cheers and laughter, no one was particularly surprised apart from maybe Enrico. Safe to say, it got the party atmosphere rolling nicely.
With it being the longest day of the year and the hottest, both India & Enrico did the sensible thing and switched into evening outfits once the sun started to set. Ideal for dancing, and just in time for the party to properly kick off. The band were absolutely brilliant, and the dancefloor? Non-stop energy!
India & Enrico, what an unforgettable day. So full of love, fun, and those little personal touches that make it completely yours. Thanks for having me along to capture the magic.
