My approach is relaxed and documentary-led. I won’t turn your wedding into an all-day photoshoot or constantly interrupt what’s happening. Instead, I’ll blend in, pay attention and capture the laughter, nerves, hugs and brilliantly unpredictable moments as they naturally unfold.
Of course, we’ll still make time for family photographs and some beautiful portraits of the two of you. I’ll offer enough direction to help you feel comfortable, but nothing will feel stiff, heavily posed or forced.
Your wedding should feel like a celebration, not a photoshoot. My job is to make sure you can enjoy it while I preserve everything that made it special.

Venues such as The West Mill and The River Mill offer character, brilliant light and plenty of opportunities for photographs without taking you away from your guests for ages. Knowing how these spaces work helps me find the best light, useful indoor options and quieter locations for portraits.
It also means less time travelling and more time capturing what’s happening.
Natural Photographs With no Awkwardness
Most of the couples I work with tell me they don’t feel comfortable in front of a camera.
That’s completely normal.
You won’t be expected to know how to pose or what to do with your hands. For most of the day, you can simply forget about the camera and concentrate on enjoying yourself.
When we take a few couple portraits, I’ll give you relaxed guidance where it helps. We’ll keep things moving, have a laugh and create photographs that still feel like you. No uncomfortable poses and no disappearing from your wedding for hours.
